Pebbles Physiotherapy is a mobile physiotherapy service owned and operated by Klancy Carlow, a dedicated physiotherapist with over 8 years of experience working with children and families.

Pebbles Physiotherapy is passionate about helping young people achieve their goals, gain confidence, and maximise independence in their daily lives.

Aquatic Therapy / Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy (or aquatic therapy) has been shown to be beneficial for a wide range of populations, including children with disability. Aquatic therapy may provide benefits such as:

Improvements in physical skills such as balance, coordination, and strength
Improvements in cardiovascular fitness and endurance
Increased freedom of movement - more opportunities to move for those with mobility challenges
Improved flexibility and joint range of motion
Assist in relieving pain and discomfort.

Home Visits

Pebbles Physiotherapy offers home and/or community visits, so that your child's therapy interventions can occur in a familiar setting and in their everyday environment. This can:

Ensure that therapy fits in and reflects your child and family's environment and goals.
Home programs that are achievable in your own home, with equipment that you have at hand.
Improve convenience for busy family lives.

Assistive Technology Prescription

At Pebbles Physiotherapy, we can assist in a wide range of equipment/assistive technology (AT) prescription. With multiple years of experience in prescribing complex AT, w e work with children and their families to find the best solutions that meet their goals and facilitate independence. Examples of what we can assist with include:

Manual and Power Wheelchair prescription (including complex seating)
Seating supports
Walking and standing frames
Modified/adaptive tricycles
Beds and pressure relieving mattresses

Assessments and Reports

We are proud to provide comprehensive assessment services that generate detailed reports customized for each participant. Our areas of expertise encompass functional capacity assessments, assistive technology reports, and SDA/SIL reports.

Other services include manual handling documentation and transfer training, with a focus on safety and promoting independence.
